POSCO Challenges Duties on Cold-Rolled Steel from Vietnam

POSCO Vietnam Co. is challenging the Commerce Department’s decision to expand duties on cold-rolled steel flat products from South Korea to cover certain imports from Vietnam.

The U.S. maintains antidumping and countervailing duties on cold-rolled steel flat products (CRS) from South Korea, which are used to make a variety of goods including appliances, automotive products, containers, electrical equipment, and construction products.

In December, Commerce determined that CRS produced in Vietnam using carbon hot-rolled steel made in South Korea was unfairly circumventing these duties.
