The Patent Trial and Appeal Board said challenged claims of Arbor Global Strategies LLC’s patent that describes a stack of integrated circuit die elements, including a field programmable gate array on a die, a memory on a die, and a microprocessor on a die, are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, in an inter partes review by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd.
