A federal district court in Colorado denied Walmart Inc.'s motion to transfer to a federal district court in Arkansas Brumate Inc.'s action for infringement of its patented gasket, which is designed to keep cans within its insulated beverage containers even when held upside down. The court said that the some factors modestly favor transfer, but that the balance of the relevant factors doesn’t weigh strongly in favor of Walmart.
