A federal district court in Texas denied Float Alaska IP LLC’s motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction BNSF Railway Co.'s trademark infringement action, based on the use of the “Northern Pacific” mark for transportation services, and transferred the action to a federal district court in California. The court said the private interest factors weigh in favor of transfer and the public interest factors weigh slightly in favor of transfer.
