Trump Lashes Out at Chicago After ‘Teen Takeover’ Hurts Officers

President Donald Trump took aim at Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, calling them “terrible” and saying they should ask for assistance after a driver injured five police officers who were responding to a so-called teen takeover over the weekend.

“Teen takeover in Chicago. Five officers badly hurt. Mayor and Governor are terrible. Should call for help!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Tuesday. The president didn’t say whether he would take federal action to address the issue.
