France’s hourly minimum wages will increase June 1, the country’s government said in an order published May 24.
The standard hourly minimum wage will increase to 12.31 euros (US$14.31), from 12.02 euros, the order (French) said. The standard hourly minimum wage applies to metropolitan France, the overseas departments of Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, and Réunion, and the overseas collectivities of St. Barthélemy, St. Martin, and St. Pierre and Miquelon, the order said.
The hourly minimum wage for the overseas department of Mayotte increased to 9.56 euros, up from 9.33 euros, the order said.
