Oregon’s unemployment-taxable wage base is to be $42,100, up from $40,600 for 2019, the state Employment Department said Nov. 15 on its website.
For 2020, unemployment tax rates for experienced employers generally are to decrease because they are to be determined with Schedule 2, under which tax rates range from 0.7% to 5.4%. For 2019, tax rates are determined with Schedule 3, which generally has higher rates.
