Three Philippine regions have announced increases to their nonagricultural daily minimum wages in 2019, according to a government chart of regional minimum wages.
Effective Feb. 1, 2019, the lowest nonagricultural daily minimum wage in Region 3, Central Luzon, is to increase to 349 Philippine pesos (U.S. $6.52), up from 339 (U.S. $6.33) Philippine pesos, while the highest nonagricultural daily minimum wage is to remain 400 Philippine pesos (U.S. $7.47), the chart from the Department of Labor and Employment said.
