The expiration date of Rhode Island’s emergency rule governing remote work during the coronavirus pandemic was extended a third time, the state said March 22.
The rule (No. 280-RICR-20-55-14) expires May 18 instead of March 19, the state department said on its website. An executive order originally issued by Gov. Gina Raimondo (D) on Sept. 2, 2020, and since extended allows emergency rules related to the pandemic to be renewed for additional 60-day periods.
