The Richmond, Calif., hourly minimum wage is to rise by 21 cents Jan. 1.
The wage is to increase to $15.21 from $15, a city webpage said. A minimum-wage poster for 2021 also is available.
Tip credits cannot be applied toward minimum wage.
The new wage, which applies to employees who work at least two hours a week, is adjusted each year for inflation.
Richmond’s minimum wage was set in 2014 and amended by Ordinance No. 15-17 N.S. in 2017.
