Santa Fe County’s 2022 living wage rate was posted to the county’s website Jan. 20.
Effective March 1, the hourly living wage rate will increase to $12.95 from $12.32, the website states. The hourly tipped living wage rate will rise to $3.88 from $3.69.
The county government and contractors that enter into a contract with the county must pay their employees at least the living wage rate, according to the county’s living wage ordinance.
