Springfield Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, is establishing a 1% earned income tax rate for employees working in the township, under an ordinance effective July 1.
Employers must withhold and quarterly remit the earned income tax, under Ordinance 1658. Employers will remit the tax to the Keystone Collection Group, which is responsible for collecting the tax on behalf of the township.
The township has an earned income tax calculator on its website that individuals and businesses may use.
