Foreign per diem rates for more than 95 locations, including Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, and Tokyo, were updated by the US State Department and take effect June 1.
Updates apply to cities and other locations in Algeria, Belarus, Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Djibouti, Egypt, Hungary, India, Israel, Japan, Libya, Lithuania, Marshall Islands, Nepal, Pakistan, Paraguay, Philippines, Turkey, Uganda, and Venezuela, according to the department’s updated list.
Updates also apply to the British overseas territory of Bermuda, the department said.
