DuPont Trims Suez Water New York’s PFAS Contamination Lawsuit

E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. still must face one claim that it contaminated New York water with PFAS, although a federal judge dismissed four related claims against the company and allowed Chemours Co. to exit the suit.

SUEZ Water New York Inc., which owns and operates public water systems, claimed that DuPont and Chemours sold products containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, also known as PFAS, to industrial manufacturers within its source watersheds.
