NAACP Sues EEOC for Records on Call for White Men’s Bias Charges

The civil rights organization NAACP sued the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for failing to fulfill a records request about the agency’s handling of discrimination complaints after its chair publicly solicited bias charges from White men.

The NAACP filed the Freedom of Information Act request after EEOC Chair Andrea Lucas released a video and social media posts in December 2025 encouraging White males to submit discrimination complaints directly to her office, according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
