Ropes & Gray advised investment management firm Hamilton Lane on the close of its second fund aimed at making profitable private equity investments that also have positive social and environmental impact.
The Hamilton Lane Impact Fund II closed with $370 million in total capital commitments, more than 375% over its predecessor fund. The Conshohocken, Pennsylvania-based firm has also raised more than $500 million through separate accounts, bringing its total haul to over $850 million since early 2021 for its broader sustainable investment platform, according to a statement.
