Mexico Nears Deal With China, South Korea on Fentanyl, AMLO Says

Mexico is close to reaching an agreement with China, and a separate one with South Korea, to limit the amount of fentanyl arriving to the country, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said at a press briefing Friday.

The drug trade shouldn’t be used as a political tool in the U.S. to blame Mexico, said AMLO, as the president is known. Inspections have continued at ports to prevent the entrance of fentanyl to the country, AMLO said.
