Bloomsbury Seeks Podcast Partnership, More AI Licensing Deals

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is looking to carve a space in podcast production and is exploring more artificial intelligence licensing deals, according to Chief Executive Officer Nigel Newton.

“Podcasting is now such a big business and it’s an obvious place for us to have a commercial presence because those producing the best-selling podcasts are the very people we publish,” Newton said in an interview. “We’re already an audiobook producer and a book producer and so the only difference is the importance of advertising to make it work. That’s why we need a partner.”
