Palantir Looks to Expand Beyond Anthropic After Pentagon Spat

Palantir Technologies Inc. may turn to other AI models amid the spat between Anthropic PBC and the Pentagon.

“Our products are integrated with Anthropic and in the future will probably be integrated with other large language models,” Palantir’s Chief Executive Officer Alex Karp said on CNBC on Thursday.

The Trump administration has declared Anthropic a supply-chain risk and barred it from government contracts. The decision followed a dispute over the startup’s demands that its Claude AI tool wouldn’t be used for mass surveillance on Americans or autonomous weapons systems. Anthropic is suing the government over the declaration.
