Switzerland Allows Personal Data Transfer to US, Mirroring EU

Switzerland has certified that the US is a country with an adequate level of data protection, allowing Swiss personal data to be transferred to certified American companies without additional guarantees.

  • The new Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework will come into force on Sept. 15, the government said in a statement on Wednesday
