Teleperformance SE has appointed the McKinsey & Co. partner it hired to navigate the threat of artificial intelligence as its new chief executive officer, in a sweeping shakeup that sees the three highest-ranking executives at the world’s largest call-center operator step down.
Jorge Amar, who previously led McKinsey’s digital customer care practice, will become CEO of the French company on March 16, Teleperformance said in a statement on Thursday. Founder and CEO Daniel Julien, and deputy CEOs Thomas Mackenbrock and Olivier Rigaudy will step down from their roles a day earlier.
