The European Union hopes to begin implementing its ambitious market integration package by 2027, the bloc’s financial services commissioner said on Tuesday, giving the first guidance on the reforms’ timeline.
“We should move to have this package discussed and approved as early as possible,” Maria Luis Albuquerque told Bloomberg Television on Tuesday. “Ideally if we could start implementing it by 2027, I think it would be really great.”
