JPMorgan Plans More Private Bank Hires to Cater to France’s Rich

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is preparing a hiring push at its French private bank as seeks to win a bigger share of business from the country’s wealthy.

“France, and Paris in particular, is home to a significant concentration of ultra- and high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and successful entrepreneurs,” Helene Briand, Market Manager for France at JPMorgan Private Bank, said in an interview. The lender plans to increase staff numbers “significantly” after boosting them by about 10% last year, she said.
