Mastercard Partners With MoneyGram on Payments (Correct)

Mastercard Inc. is partnering with remittance firm MoneyGram International Inc. to facilitate some of the payments company’s cross-border transactions, as Mastercard seeks to expand its international transfers business.

The Mastercard Move service implemented by MoneyGram will allow customers to enact near real-time payments from any Mastercard card issued in the US and send funds to bank accounts, mobile wallets, Mastercard cards and cash pick-up endpoints across international borders, according to an emailed statement.

MoneyGram customers can use the service in 38 eligible markets, including Panama and El Salvador.
