Brazil Tells E-commerces to Halt Liquors Sales: Globo

Brazil’s Consumer Secretariat Senacom has notified the main e-commerce platforms to temporarily suspend the sale of distilled beverages after several cases associated with methanol poisoning hit the country, media outlet G1 reported citing a statement from the body linked to the Justice Ministry.

  • Shopee, Enjoei, Mercado Livre, Amazon Brazil, Magazine Luiza, Casas Bahia, Americanas , Zé Delivery and Carrefour were notified, according to G1
