CREDIT DAYBOOK AMERICAS: CBA Starts Week’s High-Grade Issuance

Commonwealth Bank of Australia kicked off what syndicate desks have projected will be a $30 billion week of US investment-grade bond sales.

  • If those forecasts are correct, September’s volume will finish this week at the $170 billion high end of dealers’ forecasts
    • As high-grade spreads overall remained unchanged Friday at 72 basis points, the gauge for triple B corporates tightened a basis point to 89, its lowest in over a quarter-century
  • Dual-currency leveraged-loan transactions launched overnight from Action Holding and ATG Entertainment, among four deals that already have lender meetings scheduled for Monday
  • First Brands creditors are tallying paper ...
