JetBlue to Open First Lounge at New York’s JFK Amid Premium Push

December 11, 2025, 1:00 PM UTC

JetBlue Airways Corp. will launch its first airport lounge this month, part of the carrier’s push to court high-paying travelers and narrow the gap with larger rivals.

The new space, called BlueHouse, spans two floors at John F. Kennedy International Airport and will debut on Dec. 18, serving primarily premium customers and the airline’s credit card members. It marks the first time JetBlue has offered an exclusive lounge, a perk typically reserved for legacy airlines that rely heavily on premium cabins to drive revenue.

The debut comes as US airlines step up their pursuit of wealthier flyers.
