Prison Health Company YesCare Files Bankruptcy in Florida (2)

Prison healthcare business YesCare Corp. has filed for Chapter 11 after facing a cascade of financial and legal troubles.

The Brentwood, Tenn.-based company and certain affiliates sought bankruptcy protection Friday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

The company listed between 1,000 and 5,000 creditors, between $50 million and $100 million in estimated assets, and between $100 million and $500 million in potential liabilities. YesCare has serviced more than 475 correctional facilities across the country, according to its website.
