Bankrupt private hospital owner Prospect Medical Holdings Inc. has selected an $86.1 million bid by a Hartford HealthCare unit to start the sale process for two eastern Connecticut facilities and related businesses.
Hartford HealthCare’s nonprofit subsidiary, ECHN Holdings Inc., would purchase the operations and assets of Prospect’s Rockville General Hospital and Manchester Memorial Hospital, as well as associated ambulance businesses and an endoscopy center, according to notice filed Thursday in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
