Saudi Aramco Unit in Talks to Invest $1B in Mavenir: Reuters

Saudi Aramco’s digital arm is in talks to take a significant minority stake in Mavenir with an investment of about $1b, Reuters reports, citing people familiar with the matter.

• The deal, which could be signed before year end, would value the US telecommunications software maker at about $3b
• Mavenir working with investment bank Evercore on the talks
• Aramco and Evercore did not immediately respond to Reuters’ requests for comment; Mavenir declined to comment to Reuters
