BGOV Bill Analysis: H.R. 7432, Enhanced Aid to Post-Foster Youth

Young adults who age out of foster care would receive additional housing support under a modified version of H.R. 7432, which also would expand educational and training vouchers for foster youth.

The measure would modify the John H. Chafee Foster Care Program, which provides federal funding to state child welfare agencies to help youth as they transition out of foster care. States can use the funds to help with education, career, and health-related goals.
