BGOV Bill Analysis: H.R. 7148, Five-Bill Minibus and DHS Stopgap (1)

Federal departments and programs in five fiscal 2026 appropriations bills would be funded through Sept. 30 under the Senate-amended version of H.R. 7148, which would also extend funding for the Homeland Security Department through Feb. 13.

The package would provide full-year funding for the Defense, Financial Services-General Government, Labor-HHS-Education, National Security-State, and Transportation-HUD spending bills.
