New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is pitching a new state entity tasked with enforcing a suite of AI regulations.
Hochul will unveil the proposal to create a new regulatory body overseeing the implementation of state AI regulations during her State of the State address Tuesday, according to details her office shared with Bloomberg Government. The new Office of Digital Innovation, Governance, Integrity and Trust will be housed under the Department of Financial Services.
