House lawmakers are set to vote this week on bills to repeal energy efficiency programs enacted by Democrats and ease appliance efficiency standards.

The House Rules Committee is scheduled to meet today to set the terms of floor debate for those measures, which would require a simple majority for passage.

The chamber is also scheduled to consider six bills under suspension of the rules, which requires a two-thirds majority for passage. The list includes measures to require aircraft to use location tracking technology, codify a NASA program to acquire commercial satellite data, and provide AI resources to small businesses.
