The House is set to vote this week on a sweeping housing policy overhaul and student-athlete pay legislation.
The House Rules Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday to set the terms for debate on the student-athlete bill and three other measures: one to expand veterans disability benefits, another to bar certain veterans from being listed in the Justice Department’s firearm background check database, and a third to authorize the location of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum. Simple majorities would be needed for passage.
