Lobbyists have a new liaison in the House GOP whip operation.
Annie Brody, most recently deputy chief of staff for Rep. Russell Fry (R-S.C.), took over the role of business coalitions director for House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.). She is a point-person for building support among business groups for House GOP legislation.
Her name may already be familiar in K Street inboxes. Brody sends a daily email to a list of thousands. She also sets up meetings and calls with lobbying groups, and works closely with Jason Rogers, who does coalitions outreach to conservative organizations.
