House Republicans aim to strengthen national security and US technological competition against China through a $76.8 billion spending bill that covers the Commerce, Justice, and Science agencies.
The House Appropriations Committee on Monday released the spending bill, which would fund the key agencies for the fiscal year starting Oct. 1. The figure represents a 2.8% decrease from the enacted fiscal 2025 levels.
