Indiana’s Republican-led House of Representatives will reconvene next week to consider redrawing the state’s congressional map, ramping up pressure on a GOP-controlled Senate that’s resisted President Donald Trump’s push to advance new partisan lines before the 2026 election.
Indiana Speaker Todd Huston said Tuesday the House will meet Dec. 1. Senate President Pro Temp Rodric Bray followed, saying his chamber would meet Dec. 8 to “make a final decision that week on any redistricting proposal sent from the House.”
