Iran-Linked Militant Plotted Attacks in US, Europe, DOJ Says (2)

The US charged an Iraqi national with participating in terrorist attacks against US targets, including a planned synagogue bombing in New York and the European offices of two American banks.

Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi was charged in a criminal complaint unsealed Friday in Manhattan with conspiring to support Kata’ib Hizballah, which the US said is closely aligned with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and both are designated as terrorist organizations.
