President Donald Trump is warning Republicans of loses in next year’s midterm elections unless the Senate kills the legislative filibuster, upping his threat to the chamber that has so far resisted his demand.
“The Democrats are far more likely to win the Midterms, and the next Presidential Election, if we don’t do the Termination of the Filibuster (The Nuclear Option!),” Trump wrote on social media on Tuesday.
