Representative Ilhan Omar Attacked at Town Hall in Minneapolis

US Representative Ilhan Omar was charged at by a man who appeared to squirt an unknown liquid on her during a town hall gathering in Minneapolis, as she called for consequences for the federal officials overseeing President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration policies.

“An agitator tried to attack the congresswoman by spraying an unknown substance with a syringe,” her office said in a statement on Tuesday night. “Security and the Minneapolis Police Department quickly apprehended the individual. He is now in custody.”
