US Lawmakers Note Trade Potential After Sheinbaum Meeting (2)

Two US lawmakers who met with Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum Wednesday pointed to opportunities to expand trade between the two countries, days before higher American tariffs are set to come into effect.

Representative Don Bacon, a Nebraska Republican, and California Democrat Ro Khannadiscussed security, agriculture, and immigration, they said in an interview with Bloomberg News following the meeting with Sheinbaum in Mexico City on Wednesday.
