In mid-August, the US Supreme Court declined to temporarily bar Mississippi from enforcing its online age-verification law. Mississippi may now enforce the twice-blocked law against NetChoice, a trade association representing Big Tech, while a First Amendment challenge to the law proceeds in a lower court.
