California Privacy Push Aims to Fuel Consumer Complaints (1)

California’s privacy agency will prioritize efforts in the coming year to educate state residents about their rights and drive more enforcement, according to its director.

Boosting consumer awareness is a top aim alongside enforcement, regulation, and legislation, California Privacy Protection Agency Executive Director Tom Kemp said Friday at IAPP’s conference focusing on security and privacy in San Diego.
