Craftsy Subscribers Reach Deal to Dismiss Video-Privacy Lawsuit

Three subscribers to hobby tutorial site Craftsy are settling their video privacy dispute with site operator TN Marketing LLC and have informed the court they’re dismissing the case.

The trio alleged in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota that TN Marketing, which runs a number of hobby tutorial websites, violated the Video Privacy Protection Act by implementing Meta Platforms’ tracking pixel on Craftsy, allowing the Facebook operator to collect the video-viewing history of subscribers.
