Mintz P.C. and two former clients reached a settlement in a federal lawsuit alleging they owed the firm more than $4 million in unpaid legal fees and interest.
Judge Denise Casper dismissed their case Friday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
- Mintz sued parking meter provider Duncan Parking Technologies Inc. and its parent company, CivicSmart Inc., claiming they didn’t pay the firm for two years of service.
- The settlement agreement was filed under seal.
Mintz was represented by its members Michael Gardener and Brendan Lowd. The clients were represented by Honigman LLP.
The case is Mintz v. CivicSmart Inc., D. Mass., No. 1:24-cv-10999, order of dismissal 11/15/24
