New Delaware Chancery Magistrate Brings Family Law Background

An attorney with experience in estate litigation and adult guardianships has been appointed Magistrate in Chancery, one of two new judicial officers who will help manage the Delaware business court’s busy caseload.

Jessie R. Benavides joined the Delaware Chancery Court on Monday, with chambers in Dover, Del., according to a statement. Her civil litigation expertise includes family law and personal injury matters, and she also served as an attorney ad litem before the court.
