O’Melveny Adds Proskauer M&A Partner in Southern California

Matt O’Loughlin joined O’Melveny as a partner in its mergers & acquisitions practice group in Newport Beach, Calif., the firm announced Monday.

O’Loughlin handles complex public and private M&A deals, advises on private equity and venture capital transactions, and counsels public company boards of directors on financing and governance issues. He guides entrepreneurs and closely held businesses through their liquidity events and has industry knowledge in life sciences, tech, venture capital, financial services, asset management, consumer products, and food and agriculture, the firm said.
