A K St. lobbying firm with ties to Donald Trump is building up its California business, more than doubling its revenue here in 2025 from the prior year, Andrew Oxford and Kate Ackley report.
Ballard Partners, which has Los Angeles and Sacramento offices, is still a small shop here. It brought in just one-sixth the state receipts of some of the more established firms. Still, it’s quickly scored big clients and well-connected hires who used to work for major players like Gov. Gavin Newsom.
