US stock futures and Treasuries rose in volatile trading after dovish comments from the Federal Reserve’s John Williams boosted bets on a December interest-rate cut. Bitcoin slipped below $84,000.

Contracts on the S&P 500 were up 0.5% after fluctuating throughout the session. Sentiment improved after the New York Fed President said the central bank has room to cut rates soon as the labor market softens.
